TEMPORAL BEINGS
Sartre believed that humans are temporal beings, meaning what happened in our past, is fixed and cannot change. In the present, we have the freedom to change our attitude on what happened in the past, and also decide what we want our future to be. In other words, that homework you didn't do last night, definitely didn't get done. Now you can decide if that was a bad idea, and shape your actions accordingly for the future.
